I was in a camp yesterday,i couldn't post in the camp,but i will post whatever that happened the day before.
First thing is that,i went to school to take a test set by mr ong,it was quite difficult.After the test,yong meng,pei hao and ruba were dicussing about the answers,which none of my answers seems to match theirs.
I went to fajar,which everyone was already there before me.Harold made sure that we were all assigned to something to do.I was the only in-charge of 2 games,whereas,the others have to work together to get the game going.
They had a waterbomb fight in the school field.As always,the coward that i am would always seek a safe place for shelter,so that i would be the dryest among the others.
We later had to attend the girl guides campfire.It is where you see seng ann in a way,you have never seen,i looked like i was on drug,you should've been,if you wasn't.
I can't help but felt sorry for the guy that lost his wallet and another that lost his phone.I didn't catch a wink of sleep,but all my weekend homeworks were done except for art.
It's been a year,so i hope to see you at my new blog.

The beginning of the end
Time flies very quickly this year like the speed of light,Homeworks piles up like a mountain.Tests are stretching my brain,which makes my head look bigger.I need a break,not kit kat.
The first period in the last day of the school week was english,mrs tan went through distinction in english,which wasn't done by me once again.She gave homwork for the weekend,i'm going to deliver it.
The next period was mother tongue,mr ng came back from his M.C,he returned back the test peper we had,i failed[4-3-8],with 13.5 marks.I tried to listened to what mr ng was saying,while he go through the paper.
The next period after recess was math,i was expecting to get back the math test,but didn't get it back because mr ong didn't marked it,he gave out more work for week ends,we'll have to go back tomorrow for his test.
The last period was physics,mrs ng went through static electricity again,i think i can get a pass,if there was a test.

I came to play
There's a price to pay for choosing secondary 5,like losing all the playing times.Homework fill up 3/4 of the life[more if you're in mr ong's class].My passing rate in 2010 is now down to 50 percent.
The first period of today was Social studies,they had another quiz,it was about healthcare,i was able to answer all the question and missing some point at the same,at least i confessed,because ms toh went through with me everything the day before.
The second period was mother tongue,mr ng was absent from school,so another teacher came in and gave the class a worksheet,yong meng,zheng xu and i worked as a unit to get the answers out.I learnt quite a few words from that practice.
Before recess was art,i learnt how to draw a fridge from another angle,I heard alice by avril lavigne on the radio,radzi once again used my ipod for his entertainment.
The period after recess was English,mrs tan went through the homework she gave,she didn't check the class if they did,i was one of the people that did,but din't write down the answer,she seems to always have stories to tell.
The last period of the day was physic,mrs ng taught the class about static electricity,which was similar to magnet,i would like to give my self a pat on the back for not sleeping.
Ms toh was in charge of this week's assembly talk,i was listening to my ipod[as usual],she talked about the harms of smoking.
Mr ong had a test on matrix,i have a feeling that i will pass,but i really don't know,let's hope i do.That's it for today,i'll have to do my homework now.

It's not good enough....for me
My percentage of getting distinction was 70 percent,but i decided that if i want to pass a exam in o level,i would choose to aim at 75 percent.
The first period was mother tongue,we did a test,i believe that i would pass the test with no distinction,just an ordinary pass.
The next period was english,mrs tan went through distinction in english[which has eluded me since secondary 1].There was homework given as usual.
Recess,i managed to be anti-food,and pro diet.I did my math in that 30 minutes
The next period was chemistry,ms soo checked the homework,which happened to slip off my mind.I finished it in class,and some other questions,i was so angry,when i couldn't do some questions where my other friends can.
The next period was math,he recap on standard deviation.He also went through the homework he had given.There is a math test tomorrow and homework should be done by friday.
The last period was geography,mr ho taught the class the last part of the chapter of forest.I got 9 over 15,it didn't reached my target i set for myself,4-3-7

I'm hungry for ...chewing gums
I think i need something to keep my mouth occupied,so that it stops me from talking in class,i'm such a loudmouth.I fear that if i use food to keep my mouth occupied,i'll go fat.
The first period of the day was chemistry,i kept talking to pei hao and yong meng,because i passed,so arrogant i was,right?I swear i will not do that againnn...We were supposed to give 7.50 dollars for the ten year series,but she charged me 7 only,i will return her the money tomorrow.
The second period was math,mr ong gave out a worksheet and started going through it.That was given as homework to do.
The lesson before recess was P.E,the class did discus throwing,i didn't do it.I went on to play basketball in the Indoor sports halls,then changing to badminton.
During recess,i ate in the canteen,which was not supposed to be in my diet plan.I have to get some gums like A.S.A.P.
The next period was physics,mrs Ng gave out solutions to the worksheet for the day that she didn't come,i was trying to listen to her in class while talking to pei hao,big mistake there.
The last 2 periods was art,we just did out worked,it felt nice to hear from ms mandy that my drawing skill has improved.
I made a very huge mistake by leaving the school and not attending the chemistry remedial,because it was optional to the 9 people that passed,i chose not to go,what a mistake.
I went jurong point instead,to help jia cai choose the selection of hair to cut and help lu ting choose the clothing he want for chinese new year.Zheng xu tagged along with no one knowing.Pei hao left early,followed by jia cai and zheng xu.Lu ting,jun yan and i went back by 187,which was an hours ride back to bukit panjang.I did my math home there,i wasn't able to complete it.

The things that easily made my day
I have been happy by doing the little things that make life great,like saying a simple "thank you" to the waiter that served me,or "welcome" to whoever that thank me,"sorry" to whoever i've bumped into.
Today,i'm really tired,even if it is a monday.I crawled out my bed,dragging my feet on the floor.
The first period was math,mr ong went through the worksheet he gave out on saturday,i was able to follow him in the entire lesson.
The next period was geography,mr ho went through mangrove forest with us making sure most of us understand what he was talking about.
The period before recess was life skill and mrs came into the class,she told us to do filing for the english file.She did a little on family bonding and it was treated as a journal in english.
I ate during recess again,which i don't think it will go well in my diet.
The period after recess was english,mrs tan came in again.She went through the questions that she told us to do over the weekend.

1 year older
This blog have been posting since 31january2009,this makes it the first year.Well,but all good things must come to an end,there is going to be changes done,next week,moving to the new blog of Iamsengann.livejournal.com.
Like i said in the previous post,i want to get tan,to get that i went to sentosa,but before i had to cut my hair.
I am never going to cut my hair at the same barber.The one of the few reasons why i'm not going there is because they have lacking of manpower,there is only one guy cutting the hair,while there are like 10 people waiting outside.
The styles of the barber is also very limited,everytime i go there,i would get the same haircut,regardless the different types of hairstyle i tell them.It delayed the plan i had.
When i reached sentosa,the sun was not that bright,clouds were covering the sun,i got a little tan,but almost unnoticeable.I'm going to go to get an artifical tan or i'll go back there to get tan.
I've got a feeling that the integrated resort would look really nice,wanna see how my hair looks like?

I can't wait for the Grammy
Everyone seems to be going for the grammy,from lady gaga to justin bieber is going to be there,but i'm not going,that's too bad.I wished i could go.
I'm turning very white now,so i have decided to go to sentosa,to get tan and on the way,i could work on my homework,that is the most ideal plan.I need to look darker,because it shows the true seng ann.
Today,i woked up today,feeling very very exhausted.I was trying to get my things together like my pencil case,which i couldn't find,until now.
I then dragged my half-awake body to the kitchen,to have my breakfast,when i finished,my dad asked me if i wanted to go down to the food court and eat,the good thing was that i was only half-full,so i went and ate with him.
I went to school feeling so full,that i almost puke,when i reached,the class seems to be there already,we were given a worksheet of ONLY 9 long and tough question,i stopped at question 7,before i went mad.
I saw the scouts in school,so decide to go see them for a while.I then left for zhenghua,i called jun yan and he said that they were having P.T,so i wanted to rush down to do P.T,when kok hui and i got there,the P.T had ended,so next time,i make sure i'll run there,instead of walk.

The undisputed [Failing] streak ends today
After 8 straight days since my failing streak started,it has finally ended[with a distinction,just so you know].
The first period was english,where Mrs tan went through the homework,which she gave.There were some words i didn't know the meaning of,obviously the teacher did went through.
The next period was math,mr ong went through some question he gave as homework yesterday,he asked me a question,which happened to be the only question that i was careless in[that happened to be the only question i got wrong].There will be a remedial tomorrow,and a test next week,i'm confident,i'll pass next week.
The period after recess was supposed to be physics,but mrs ng wasn't in school or something...So it was free period,we were given a worksheet,which could easily be done in 5 minutes.
The last period was chemistry,where ms soo didn't want to give out the test paper that we took a day ago,there was only 14 people that passed,i was wondering if i was the one that failed,because of the straight 7 failures in all the subjects,i didn't just pass,i got distinction for it,3-2-7.
Later,i went to withdraw my first sum of money[ever in the 16 years of my life].It was such a great experience,if only words could explain it.
I then went back to school for mother tongue remedial,we were given some worksheets,well,pei hao didn't go because he had to fight a war,that's what he said,don't ask me.I worked with jia cai to get the answer,we were blaming each other for what we did.
Jeremy and i waited for faris,to see if he was going for art,we ended up sitting at the corner of a staircase that's closest to the gate,we were joined by radzi and suriya,The funniest thing was jeremy was shouting to glenn
J:hey,glenn,where's mr lee?
J:oh shucks,mr lee
After hearing that,radzi,suriya and i ran up to outside the staff room,we sat with alwee,suriya left first for npcc and then radzi and i started leaving,after knowing that jeremy and faris left the school.

Today,the first period was english,i think mrs tan forgot to bring us back to class,so we went back class late,mr malik checked the class,he told me to cut my hair.Mrs tan went through the pages that she told us to read,and home work was given.
The next period was Mother tongue,mr ng told us to do a formal letter which he wants back tomorrow,which means that it's treated as homework.
The period before recess was kamistry*[chemistry],we had a test,we were given given time to study.I asked a few pointless question that didn't came out.I paid for what i did ask,i believe my failing steak will continue.
During recess,i was rushing to complete my math homework,i then went to the canteen and i saw mr malik,he wanted to get his message loud and clear,that hair is actually long.
The period after recess was mr ong's class,math was okay,we were given back our 3 marks test,i failed,which was totally expected.It was confirmed that my failing streak was still unbroken,2-2,7.
The last period of the day was social studies,out of the 32 people in the class,only 2 people did their work,i was one of the two,i was surprized that mun ting didn't do.Ms toh didn't want to go through at first,but she did.I feel that i am very lost at SBQ now.

.....before the new blog starts to work.I may still be upset over the fact that i failed 6 subjects in 5 days and passed 4 subjects in 21 days.I had a geo test today,i don't think i would score high for that.

The period was geography,like i said earlier,there was a test,which mr ho and ms durga gave 15 minutes to study and 35 minutes of test.I tried to get everything inside my head,by doing last minutes revisions,which ladies and gentlemen,i would like to tell you that it do not work.I find the test a little hard.There was no remedial for geography today.
I usually stayed in class during recess,is because i want to rush my homework(s),for the period after recess,if there is,but today,there wasn't,so i didn't stay in class.
The period after recess was english,mrs tan went through the passage that she gave 2 days ago,except summary.She didn't came alone,she came with ms ang.
In life skill period,mrs tan made us set targets for 2010,i think i set a good target to break.If i can achieve that it would be great,but after i break my failing streak first.
The last period was physics,i think fisics* is the easiest subjects of all,plus mrs ng is good at teaching.
The first time i did was to go to the scout den,put my bag there.Later,i went to bukit panjang plaza with pei hao,to look for the avril lavigne disc,i couldn't find it.I went back to school,on the way,we saw rover teck seng.
Junyan and i went to see what the scouts were doing,staying out of the way as much as possible.
I later went to lot 1 to get my disc,which i found it[yessss!!].I still have mr ong's problem sums that have yet to be done.

The period after recess was english,mrs tan went through the passage that she gave 2 days ago,except summary.She didn't came alone,she came with ms ang.
In life skill period,mrs tan made us set targets for 2010,i think i set a good target to break.If i can achieve that it would be great,but after i break my failing streak first.
The last period was physics,i think fisics* is the easiest subjects of all,plus mrs ng is good at teaching.
The first time i did was to go to the scout den,put my bag there.Later,i went to bukit panjang plaza with pei hao,to look for the avril lavigne disc,i couldn't find it.I went back to school,on the way,we saw rover teck seng.
Junyan and i went to see what the scouts were doing,staying out of the way as much as possible.
I later went to lot 1 to get my disc,which i found it[yessss!!].I still have mr ong's problem sums that have yet to be done.

I can do better,i can do better
I don't understand,Where,just where in the world did all my Passes go to?
I have been suffering from failures in test recently,even when i prepared for it.2-2-4.I need,No,i must pass by this month,i wouldn't be satisfied with a 50 percent pass,this time i want a 70 percent and above pass,I'm not the same seng ann that believe in getting a regular pass.Everyone seemed to be better than me now,it's just not right,i can do better,i will do better,i must do better.
The first period was math,Mr ong gave a test,he gave the answer after the test,i failed once again[Grr...].The whole class seemed to pass,how could i failed,the question were so easy,careless mistakes appearing in all my test recently[Argh,i hate myself].
The 2ND and 3rd period,was art,i didn't do anything for the 2 period,until Mr lee had enough of me drawing gears,so he brought me up to the computer lab to print more resources,i was told to make a sculpture of a cyborg made of household appliances,i don't think i can do it,i feel like changing the topic.
The period after recess was social studies,where ms toh flashed on the screen of the points,the class got for the graphic organizer,i got 6/20,which is another fail,because i failed to hand in the 2nd graphic organizer on time,which marks another fail,2-2-5
The next period was english,the class got back their test paper for yesterday,yes,probably the whole class failed i don't know,but i got 4 pathetic marks out of 20points,which is obvious that i failed,2-2-6.We were told to go home and think about our answers and try again.
The last period was chemistry,i slightly understood what ms soo was teaching,at least,i understand,there is going to be a test,but this time,i'm not going to flunk it.
You can't get the job done,by calling pei hao and his peers to help you do something,i learnt my lesson,i won't depend on them,it's every man/woman for himself/herself[strike out the categories that don't fit you].

I can now see who they really are
I was fighting to retain my spot last year,but this year,i found a reason to work hard.
The first period was math,where the class was given back a test that we had on Thursday,only 5 passed Mr ong's standard,Yong meng,pei hao,amirul,ruba and jasmine passed,so what did i get?
The next person who ask me,I'll knock the tooth down the throat of that person,so come ask me,you want a face makeover,I'm serious,I'm believing in changes now,I'm still pissed off.

The next period was P.e,we did some running,push-up,i did my first kip-up in school.I refused to speak to anyone,while doing everything,i slither to one corner,as slowly as i can[look below for why i walk slowly].

It's the tooth,the whole tooth and nothing,but the tooth
It's a sunday,where all homeworks are supposed to be done and ready to be handed up,the same cannot be said for mine.I spended the whole day slacking and working out to relieve stress,instead of completing my work.
I always wake up late on sunday,today was no different.I just didn't want to do anything in the morning,but in the end,i chose to do my math homework,i encounter some problems that i couldn't solve[not some,a lot].I finished the questions that i knew how to do.I have totally forgotten standard deviation and such,this is BAD,very BAD!
In the noon,my aunt,always bringing things whenever she comes to my house like a santa claus,but today she didn't just come and talk to the family,she came with an agenda,she was here to celebrate my grandmother's errr....[she have never told me her age] birthday,we had a feast.
I went cycling after the wonderful feast with my aunt and the entire family,i cycled to yee tee,then to sunshine place,i felt so good after cycling,then i went for weight works.
Later,i'm meeting alice to catch the tooth fairy........again.

Soooooooo tiring!!!
The weekend are the days where i usually get a chance to breath in 2009,2010 hasn't been that way.I only have Saturday afternoon off.
I had to wake up at 6 plus in the morning to go to school for Mr ong's remedial,i could only stay for half an hour,so that i won't be late for the meeting,so Mr ong told me to take it back home to do.Jun yan was in school and kok hui tagged along.
When we reached the bus stop,we had to wait for guang rong,i was impatient and wanted to leave without him.It took him quite awhile to reach.
When we reached the intakes were there,but no leaders,no rovers.....So we joined them,we waited and waited,until FINALLY!!!,siew hui came,she gave instructions and we started hiking.
On the way,obviously we lost our way once or twice,but we went back on track and found our back to school,with breaks in between,of course!
Then,jun yan and i walked to the bus stop near pending to take the bus,i went to suntec to look at the topman shops that i know around there,then went to bras basah to look at the electric guitars,i may get one next week.
After ogling at the beautiful.....err,guitars i mean,i walked to bugis to see the topman shop once again.I then went home,got changed,got changed and went out with caitlin to spend my so young night,doing something meanful together,instead of touching the tonnes of homeworks.I will do it tomorrow.

Today was a fairytale
It was unbelivable day today,no words from my dictinary could describe what had transpired.
It rained in the morning,it looked very dark,yet beautiful.i wished it would look like that every day,i don't think i will forget how it looked any time soon.
The first period of the last day of the week was english,mrs tan brought in another T.Y.S that we brought,she went through the other T.Y.S she had given earlier.
The second period was mother tongue,Mr ng went through the test that we had earlier,i was expecting to fail,so after 21 straight days of not failing any subjects,it broke my record to 2-1-1
The period after recess was math,mr ong was already in class,when i reached the class.we had a test,i knew that i failed,so my record is now 2-1-2,this does not go well for me,if it were to continue.
The last period was physics,mrs ng went through the workbook,i have to get the workbook soon,if not i would miss out on a lot in class.
I stayed to finish the compo that mr ng gave.
Jun yan came back to school to help me wrap the singapore map,so we did a little pioneering until mr chong came to chase us out.

Thank you january
It has been great to me so far.Today,i couldn't wait for the day to start,because i knew that i was receiving the awards that i was notified by the school last year.
Today started off with social studies,we had a test,it totally slipped off my mind,until mun ting reminded me to study for the test yesterday,so i did some last minutes read through which definitely helped.The test was much easier after i read through.
Mother tongue was the second period,which we were told to have a compo test,but mr ng wasn't in school.This teacher called Mdm duan came in and continued with the test,but she was so kind to volunteer herself to read the passage for the class,then turned the compo into a homework,thanks to her
Art was the third period,i tried doing a drawing,but didn't complete the drawing.
We went through the robbery passage,those who didn't do her homework had to do it outside,before they could come in,i completed my work yesterday.
Last lesson for the day was physics,mrs ng gave back our test,i got 18/25,which makes my record,2-1-0,she went through the paper,then the homework.I was in the small group of people that could leave early.
In my 4 years in grennridge,this assembly is the most meaningful one,i received a total of 400 dollars from the eagles award and Good progress award.I want to thank those people that helped me in 2009 and those who congratulated me.I love them for what they have done.
I thought i was going to donate 10percent[which is 40 bucks] to help haiti,but i decide not to,but since my lucky number is 13,so i'm going to donate 130dollars to help haiti.I did some mistakes in receiving my G.P.A

Homeworkmania is running wild
When i was in the holiday,i was thinking about doing something and couldn't wait for the school to start.For now,i'm wishing for the holiday to begin,so i can take a breathe.I won't be killed by homework...at least:)
Today,Mr ho hit me with his usual morning magazine,because i was slower at keeping my headset than pei hao,i bet he will hit pei hao first,if he hadn't kept it.Well,no harm done,i swear i saw a grin from mr ho after that.
Mother tongue was the first period,there was a test,i'm sure i would fail,because the passing mark is 25 and i did the questions until i could get 24 the most.The time ran out on me....I think it's my slow reading.
The next period was english,mrs tan gave us 2 magazines from ngee ann and temasek poly,one ten years series and a piece of worksheet.She told us to keep the T.Y.S and the magazines,she went through the passage with us.Homework was given.
Chemistry was something that i was really having a problem in,the molar mass,mole,mol,and err...whatever,i'm just having problem and i'm starting to try to understand it.
You can't spell matrix with MA,so that period was math and mr ong was teaching the multipication of matrix,it was tough at the start,easier later....haha
The last period was Geography,Mr ho brought the class around to look at the trees and explain it to us.There was a point where pei hao and i were searching for the spot of the rotting chicken,while mr ho was explaining to the class at the back of the school.
He made his rememdial optional,so those who wanted to ask question,could ask....Pei hao,yong meng and i didn't have any question,so they went home and i made sure i did some homework before i left,i didn't leave,after i finished,i stayed to see what the scouts were up to.

13 is all around
It seems that my life seems better.I can't believe that i actually won something that i didn't thought i would win.The rehearsal for GPA and eagles award are going well.
Today,i went to school,thinking about one thing,obviously,alice.I was totally clueless,when ms chong came and look for me.
Ms chong:Are you Goh seng ann?
me:yea
ms chong:you are going to the stage later,okay?
me:err...okay[thought that she was talking about the GPA]
ms chong:you later go up to get the prize when i call you up
me:what?i thought i'm supposed to get it on thursday?
Ms chong:no,you know the taylor swift's contest that you joined or did you not?
me:yea,i did joined[i finally understand what she was talking about]
My heart was racing,during flag raising.The national anthem ended faster today,did it?
Mr goh did his achieving excellence speech,i got 5 dollar popular vouncher from ms chong,love the school for that.

B:Decide to cheer them on,like the rest
C:side with the better man
D:none of the above,because i was too lost on what to do.

It was then we had 3 periods of art,where mr lee went through with me on what i should do using my mind map,then the class went to the computer lab to search for picture for our course work.
Today was the start of our structured remedial for chemistry,ms soo went through the alcohol&acids worksheet,yong meng did well,i must say,i'm impressed,he is really smart.

I feel so good now
I was really down lately,until today,i received a message during recess that made me feel better.
The first period was maths,i was very fresh in that period,because it was a monday,but i was thinking of Alice,so i wasn't really paying attention,all i knew was to complete the homework that was given.
2nd period was no different from the first period,because i was still dreaming about her...The thing that was different that Mr ho was back and ms durga was on medical leave.Some group of people were called out to talked about receiving awards on assembly...Mr ho talked and talked,i dreamed and dreamed,so can anyone tell me what he taught in class?
In lifeskills,the 5NAs were called to go to the hall,not knowing that mdm heng was going to talk about working hard and her usual motivational speech,she did.I paid attention to what she had to say...
During recess,i was spamming to alice telling her that i was sorry,after awhile,she replied and YES!,she forgived me,i have to go on a movie trip with her,i'm was so happy,that i almost shouted like someone was trying to murder me.
English was the next period,we were told to do the situation writing,so we did and had time to do until the period ended.
I was so lost when mr ng was teaching,because he was reading the book for one moment,then talking about what happened....i was surprized that yong meng could catch up,probably because he was sitting in my super-HD seat.
The last period was Social studies,Ms toh went through the format of SBQ,once again,since 2009,she went through one SBQ question.I still owe her a graphic organizer,no wonder she's the most inspiring english teacher....
Later,i went to kok hui's house,well....i have no idea why i went there,i almost finished my english homework,he told us to go his house again tomorrow.

During recess,i was spamming to alice telling her that i was sorry,after awhile,she replied and YES!,she forgived me,i have to go on a movie trip with her,i'm was so happy,that i almost shouted like someone was trying to murder me.
English was the next period,we were told to do the situation writing,so we did and had time to do until the period ended.
I was so lost when mr ng was teaching,because he was reading the book for one moment,then talking about what happened....i was surprized that yong meng could catch up,probably because he was sitting in my super-HD seat.
The last period was Social studies,Ms toh went through the format of SBQ,once again,since 2009,she went through one SBQ question.I still owe her a graphic organizer,no wonder she's the most inspiring english teacher....
Later,i went to kok hui's house,well....i have no idea why i went there,i almost finished my english homework,he told us to go his house again tomorrow.
